this is your life...
This is a brief interruption from my regular posts to explain what i do here…
There is a bigger project in play but i will explain that in due time as it is long and slightly complicated, more importantly i don’t really know how to explain what it is at the moment (obviously the ‘ma maison’ tab on this site is a major hint, but not quite the full story)
Most of what you will see here are small projects that I am working on or have completed, as an updated letter to mother (who is moving half way across the world) a little bit of my life in general such as food, shopping, adventures, ideas and generally whatever takes my fancy.

i enjoy testing theory’s about the ideas I have for home and wardrobe while learning new things which are outside of my wheel house and In principal i love my sewing projects.
people are always encouraging me to reproduce and sell my sewing projects and in the past i have dabbled with online sites and boutique stores but i usually stick to personal commission projects where i can work with a client and develop something new.
truthfully I never really enjoyed reproducing things for online and boutique stores, which is probably why i was never truly committed and it did not work, so in the wake of planning the bigger project (updates coming soon) and after an extended chat and a lazy saturday morning perusing the internet, i found some words to live and die by…
