My contribution to the tiny house movement will be a self contained wooden lodge at the foot of mothers guest house. My first impressions were a cross between a horror movie and a dream come true…

I imagine that mother natures soul is hidden away within the mountain valleys of this island. All across the island of Dominica you can see what mother nature is truly capable of and what she can carve and grow when she is left to her own devices.

I figure I can now make as many as I want and I will never have to buy a new pair of pants again, if that ain’t the most sustainable (ish) idea you ever heard then I don’t know what is.

The original tee was a little long so i reduced the length, i gave the sleeves a fixed turn up for that casual summer look, and did a lot of practicing to get the back cross applique stitching right. although the original had the applique on the front i definitely like my version with the back applique.

Classic silk in a selection of three contrasting colours, stitched into an irregular stripe. this full panelled skirt is a playful addition to any outfit and was my favourite go to for Saturday brunch with the ladies (once upon a time).

I definitely get to the water on most days and it has made my daily lockdown walks a hundred percent more enjoyable, I generally aim for a morning walk in the park and a sunset walk by the water.

I won’t say how long I have been rolling the back streets of Battersea, but I know that the time has come to make moves to new places. So here I am saying a fond farewell to my second home and about to head south to start fresh…

created to be worn comfortably at a hot destination wedding, it needed to be loose and allow air to flow in a hot climate yet still define the feminine form with that wedding guest look, unlined broderie anglais, a pair of big pants and my modesty intact… I’m gonna give myself a pat on the back.

the universe seems to be clearing a path and i truly feel like my day dreams are materialising before me as easily as i breath the air. It’s a beautiful feeling.
